Violin Workshop

REAGISTRATION FORM – VIOLIN

The violin Master classes are led by Hugues Borsarello.

Dates : From July 22nd, 2024, to July 27th, 2024

Target Audience :

All levels : from beginners to professionals, starting from 15 years old.

Minors must be accompanied by a parent.

Content :

  • Beginners & Cycle 1 : One 30-minute private lesson per day.
  • Cycle 2, 3 & beyond : One 45-minute private lesson per day.
  • Access to a practice space between classes.
  • All classes are open to participants, and they are encouraged to attend.
  • The last day of the workshop will feature a public collective Master class and a final concert.

Objectives of the workshop :

  • Cycles 1, 2, 3 & beyond : Work on overall posture and discovery and deepening of various technical points, always linked to musical discourse.
  • Professionals and those on the path to professionalism : Depending on each participant’s desire, specific work on certain repertoire (soloist and chamber music), emphasis on orchestra auditions, etc…

Number of participants per workshop : maximum 10.

Fees :

  • Beginners & Cycle 1 : €625 *
  • Cycle 2, 3 & beyond : €760 *

The fees include tuition, accommodation, and full board (excluding transportation costs).

Hugues Borsarello is a soloist, chamber musician, first violin of the Volta quartet, musical director and solo violin of La Follia Chamber Orchestra of Alsace, artistic advisor and solo violin of the Lamoureux Concerts Orchestra. After studying at the CNSMDP, he joined at 20 as a super-soloist at the Lisbon Metropolitan Orchestra. He has performed in France at the « Folles Journées » in Nantes, at the Périgord Noir festival, as well as abroad, at the Barbican in London, NCPA in Bombay, Kioi Hall in Tokyo… In 2014, he recorded his complete Mozart concerto series, which he conducted on the violin with La Follia. Hugues Borsarello plays a violin by V. Ruggieri, Cremona c1695.
